  • Do I need the HACS Kiosk Mode integration?

    No. The app works without it. HACS Kiosk Mode is optional and recommended for a better kiosk experience, since it hides headers and can reduce accidental navigation. You can enable “Append ?kiosk (HACS Kiosk Mode)” in the app settings if you have the integration installed.

  • Can I use Nabu Casa or only a local URL to connect?

    Both are supported. You can use a local Home Assistant URL (e.g. http://192.168.1.90:8123) or a Nabu Casa remote address (e.g. https://xxxx.ui.nabu.casa). During setup, choose “Nabu Casa” or “Home Assistant URL” and enter your connection details.

  • What’s the difference between the free and Pro version?

    The free version includes a single dashboard, gradient idle screen, basic link policy (Current Dashboard only), and core features like re-authentication and PIN protection. Pro adds multiple dashboards with a tab bar, fade to black, custom background and logo, periodic refresh, link policies (Connection, All, None), dashboard zoom (10–200%), import/export via QR, HA Events for automations, and App Intents for Shortcuts.
